It’s always funny when
you’re in denial because somebody you hang around a lot is just a huge asshole. But you find reasons to continue your friendship/relationship/whatever with this person, or people, who really truly are just assholes. And then one day you realize how much you’ve been trying to suppress that, but you figure out that you’re more mature now and it’s impossible and you’re wasting a lot of your time pretending like people aren’t assholes.
