Today was my first college audition.
I sang at University of Illinois today, and I wasn’t really nervous because I sort of figured I didn’t really have a chance of getting in. It was ranked 10th in the nation for music schools last year, so basically I was treating this audition as a practice for all of the others to come.
To my surprise they told me I was admitted immediately after my audition. Top 10 music school. Amazing opera program. And the love of my life (hehehe) Nathan Gunn works there.
